Sales experience in SaaS, energy-tech, OT, or utility sectors 3+ years.

Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.

Existing relationships with DSOs (Distribution System Operators) or grid operators.

Exposure to technical pre-sales activities.

Knowledge of grid monitoring/analytics and cybersecurity basics.

Native/Fluent German, English proficiency.

Pioneer market entry, secure lighthouse deals, and own the full sales cycle in the DACH energy sector.

About the Job

Reporting to the CCO, you will be instrumental in building our early pipeline and securing key Distribution System Operator (DSO) customers across the DACH region. This role requires partnering closely with our product and solutions teams to win initial deployments and establish SCG as a leader in the market. As a Sales Consultant, you'll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, nurturing relationships and driving successful outcomes.

Pipeline Generation

Achieve ≥3× quarterly quota pipeline coverage by Month 4.

Lighthouse Deals

Secure 2–3 lighthouse deals (paid pilots/subscriptions) within 6–9 months.

Forecast Accuracy

Maintain forecast accuracy within ±20% by Month 6, ensuring reliable projections.

Strategic Market Entry

Lead the charge in establishing our presence and reputation in the critical DACH region.

From prospecting to closing, you'll own the full sales cycle.

Prospect & Qualify

Identify and qualify DSOs and grid operators, conducting thorough discovery and value-based demos.

Commercial Ownership

Own proposals, pricing guidance, and commercial terms, collaborating with legal for seamless execution.

Partner Development

Develop and manage regional partners and channels to expand market reach.

CRM Management

Ensure meticulous CRM hygiene and data accuracy to support sales operations and reporting.

A proven sales leader with deep industry knowledge and a knack for building relationships.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant who can hit the ground running and drive significant growth in the DACH market.

Bilingual

Native/Fluent German proficiency is essential, complemented by strong English communication skills.

Industry Knowledge

3+ years of successful sales experience in SaaS, energy-tech, Operational Technology (OT), or utility sectors.

Quota Experience

A demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Networked Professional

Existing relationships with DSOs or grid operators, coupled with technical pre-sales exposure.

Tech-Savvy

Fundamental understanding of grid monitoring/analytics and cybersecurity basics.

Munich Preferred

While remote, a preference for candidates based in Munich, Germany, or willing to travel frequently.
