Highlights
What You'll Need to Bring
3+ years of end-to-end project delivery experience in power distribution, grid automation, or industrial monitoring.
Demonstrated hands-on leadership in installation and commissioning within live utility environments, with strong Medium Voltage (MV) safety awareness.
Familiarity with utility workflows, including OMS/SCADA, planned outages, switching, and change management.
Proven ability to design and deliver effective customer training and enablement programs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Project Management (PM) discipline, evidenced by PMP/PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification.
Fluency in English.
Possess an EU driving license and willingness to travel 20-40% for project delivery across various sites.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Knowledge of MV cables, joints/terminations, and partial discharge concepts.
Ability to comfortably navigate the landscape of Distribution System Operators (DSOs), understanding their regulatory environment, operational processes, and industry dynamics.
HSE certifications (e.g., VCA/SCC) and awareness of NEN 3140/3840 standards.
Exposure to SAIDI/SAIFI/CAIDI metrics, MTTR, and condition-based maintenance programs.
Proficiency in Dutch and/or German.
About the Role
You will own multi-site rollout plans, managing design review through to installation, SAT/FAT, commissioning, and acceptance, while meticulously overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE. This includes coordinating site surveys, permits, outage windows, logistics, and subcontractors, and ensuring all RAMS/method statements are approved. You will supervise commissioning activities like sensor placement, synchronization, connectivity, and baseline capture, driving punch-list closure to achieve final acceptance. A critical part of your role involves designing and delivering role-based training (for control room, field, and asset management teams), covering alarm handling and PD-triage SOPs, and certifying 'SCG Champions'. You will also integrate our solutions with existing OMS/SCADA/IT systems, addressing cybersecurity requirements and aligning data flows and user access on the SCG portal. Finally, you will manage RAID logs, change control, and reporting, track project P&L and milestone billing, and capture lessons learned to continuously refine our playbook.

Our offering
Nexus Grid is at the forefront of transforming medium voltage grids through intelligent, AI-powered asset intelligence. Our platform provides European utilities and Distribution System Operators (DSOs) with the 'superpowers' to operate smarter, predict failures, and optimize grid performance.
Our core solutions include:
- Real-Time Asset Performance Optimization: We offer continuous monitoring of thermal stress, voltage patterns, and load distribution. This allows utilities to maximize asset utilization without compromising safety, extending asset lifespan by up to 30% and unlocking hidden capacity.
- Predictive Failure Prevention: Utilizing advanced machine learning models, Nexus Grid analyzes historical and real-time data to predict equipment failures weeks before they occur. This dramatically reduces unplanned outages by up to 60% and improves crew scheduling by 40%.
- Thermal Efficiency & Grid Intelligence: Our system pinpoints thermal bottlenecks within the medium voltage grid, optimizing energy flow and reducing technical losses by up to 15%. This also helps in cutting peak demand charges.
Born from DNV's deep grid expertise and driven by AI innovation, Nexus Grid shifts traditional reactive maintenance to a proactive, predictive approach. We provide 100% MV network transparency and unify siloed data sources (SCADA, maintenance, field reports) into a single, intelligent platform. Our mission is to make every MV grid intelligently resilient, operationally efficient, and future-ready for the energy transition.
