What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in finance and accounting, including team leadership or management.

Demonstrated expertise in multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations (EOR, payroll, or fintech preferred).

Direct experience or strong exposure to payroll operations, funding, or management.

Ability to balance strategic financial direction with hands-on operational execution.

Track record of building, optimizing, and scaling financial processes and controls.

Relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).

Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

About the Role
Fronted is revolutionizing how growth companies scale globally by providing a unified operating system for recruitment, compliant employment, and ongoing support. From a company's first international hire to payroll and local entity setup, we manage every step. Our finance function is at the core of this complexity, operating across 40+ countries, dealing with multiple legal entities, currencies, and diverse statutory rules. We are seeking a Head of Finance & Accounting to build out this critical function as we continue our rapid scaling. You'll lead a small, growing team, with ample opportunity to establish new tooling, processes, and controls amidst increasing transaction volume and country footprint. This role demands a blend of strategic vision and meticulous operational detail, as finance underpins every stage of our client relationships.

Drive Financial Excellence Across Borders

What You'll Do
As our Head of Finance & Accounting, you will be instrumental in overseeing and evolving our financial operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across our global footprint.
Financial Operations Ownership
Oversee all financial operations, including client invoicing, cost pass-through, statutory employer costs, and precise margin tracking by client and country.
Global Payroll Funding
Strategically manage multi-jurisdictional payroll funding cycles, navigating diverse currencies, banking systems, and statutory timelines.
Process & Reconciliation
Develop and refine robust reconciliation processes for client and payroll funds, ensuring clear audit trails to support scaling volumes.
FX Risk Management
Actively monitor and mitigate foreign exchange (FX) exposure from multi-currency billing and in-country disbursements.
Accurate Financial Close
Ensure accurate and timely financial closes across multiple entities, consolidating into comprehensive group-level reporting.
Global Compliance
Coordinate statutory accounting, tax filings, and compliance with local experts across all operational countries.
EOR Expansion Management
Drive EOR expansion initiatives, including vendor sourcing and operational setup in new regions.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, establishing priorities and optimizing ways of working for scalable growth.
Budgeting & Forecasting Ownership
Own budgeting and forecasting processes, providing critical financial guidance.
Platform Financial Logic
Contribute to shaping the financial logic and architecture within our evolving platform.

A Builder, Strategist, and Global Expert

Who You Are
We're seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Finance & Accounting with a deep understanding of complex international financial landscapes.
Financial Expertise
Solid finance and accounting background, including leadership experience.
Multi-Jurisdictional Savvy
Proven experience with multi-entity, multi-currency operations (EOR, payroll, fintech highly valued).
Payroll Insight
Exposure to payroll operations, funding, or management.
Strategic & Operational
Comfortable defining strategic direction while diving into operational details.
Process Innovator
Track record of building and improving financial processes and controls.
Qualified Professional
Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or similar) is a plus.
Clear Communicator
Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership.
Remote & Agile
Capable of working full-time remotely, aligned with EU working hours.
